The Kats were killin' it at RaXX
News from last show at RaXX - The band had more people on the dance floor than the DJ! With new sound tech Troy, Dave, John and Vidal unleashed one of their most powerful and poignant rock shows complete with a dozen new tunes (as promised to keep it fresh) "Play that Funky Music" (Wild Cherry), "Summer of 69" (Bryan Adams). "Poets", " New Orleans is Sinking" and "Blow at High Dough" by the Tragically Hip, "Sweet Emotion" by Aerosmith, "Sangria" by Blake Shelton and a mini set of country faves by request (Dwight Yoakam's "Guitars and Cadillacs" and Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues"). The crowd ate up whatever the ToneKats were serving with chants of "More Cowbell!!" to "Don't Fear the Reaper" that night culminating with a rowdy version of Metallica's "Enter Sandman".
